Hear With Us champions captioning

Hear With Us practices the social model of disability to advance our area of impact. We accept that disability (whether temporary or longer term) is a normal part of life and that the human diversity includes people with disabilities. We seek to increase access to audio communications and environments to include a visual equivalent – through captioning – to enable more people to fully participate, experience and engage on an equal basis with others.

We believe there is a gap in accessing meaningful, accurate captions for time-sensitive announcements at the present time. This affects everyday lives and experiences.

Hear With Us is a registered not-for-profit, charitable organisation based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. We work with our members, sponsors, patrons and other community organisations in our advocacy efforts. We are independent of government funding. Anyone is warmly welcomed to join us.
